  • With over 11 years of experience living aboard and sailing, Captain David Langlois knows the ocean like the back of his hand. A skilled navigator, freediver, and spearfisher, he brings adventure and expertise to every charter. His deep connection to the sea, combined with a relaxed and professional approach, ensures a safe and unforgettable journey. Whether exploring hidden coves or cruising crystal-clear waters, David makes every moment aboard CATA feel effortless.

Jacques Cata Captain
  • Born and raised in South Africa, Jacques began his maritime career in Mozambique, combining his love for boating, diving, and adventure watersports. With over two decades of experience as a yacht captain, his career has spanned the globe—from U.S.-based cruise ships to maritime roles in the U.K., Thailand, and Greece.

    In 2014, he founded a successful adventure center and luxury yacht charter company on Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront before relocating to the U.S. in 2018. Known for his professionalism, leadership, and commitment to delivering exceptional on-the-water experiences, Jacques ensures every charter is safe, seamless, and unforgettable.

    Estelle’s cuisine is a vibrant fusion of global flavors, influenced by her travels and deep appreciation for the natural bounty of the sea. Whether it’s a decadent multi-course feast under the stars or a fresh, health-conscious meal infused with island flavors, she crafts dishes that delight and surprise. Guests are particularly enchanted when she guides them through the Exumas, a place she believes is one of the most magical yachting destinations. The stunning turquoise waters, remote beaches, and thrilling experiences like snorkeling the Thunderball Grotto or swimming with pigs inspire the menus she designs—bringing the essence of the Bahamas to every plate.
